Barbies is proud to present the Barbies Market Fruit & Vegetable Basket at participating locations. We have created the Barbies Fruit & Vegetable Basket to help our customers get fresh, quality produce without having to walk through a grocery store. Barbies also wants to encourage local producers by promoting the purchase of local produce when available.
How it works:
A few days before the we prepare the Fruit & Vegetable baskets, we go to the Montreal fruits and vegetables’ market in order to offer you the freshest items possible. We then choose 16 to 18 different fruits and vegetables that we feel are the best quality. We favour local producers for the choice of our fruits and vegetables. Since it is impossible for us to predict in advance which items will be the freshest each week, here is a list of fruits and vegetables we will choose from every week.
Vegetables: Potatoes, sweet potatoes, onions, cucumbers, romaine lettuce, Iceberg lettuce, shallots, celery, carrots, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, asparagus, spinach, garlic, cabbage and radishes.
Fruits: Avocados, limes, lemons, tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, zucchini, bananas, pineapples, strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, oranges, grapes, cantaloupe, mangoes, pears, apples, pomegranates, dates and peaches.
